Privacy policy

It applies under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, for visitors living in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

• Contact form: your name, your email address and/or phone number (WhatsApp), the plan you’re interested in and your message, plus the language and the page of the site you write from.
• WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, your number and messages are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.
• Technical data: as with any website, our hosting provider receives the data needed to run and secure the site (IP address, browser type, pages requested).

The site never asks for sensitive data or payment details.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your request and prepare your quote.
• To stay in touch with you during the project and support.
• To send you an automatic confirmation email, if you left an email address.
• To keep the site secure and protect it from abuse.

We don’t send newsletters or advertising, and we never sell or rent your data.

4. Legal basis

Your consent, when you send the form or message us; steps taken before a contract and the contract itself, for the quote and the project; our legitimate interest, for the security of the site.

5. Service providers and transfers

Only AbacheDev looks at your data. To work, the site relies on technical providers, some of them based outside Morocco, including in the United States:

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and protection against attacks.
• Formspree: forwarding the messages sent through the form by email.
• Google (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script): receiving and tracking requests, confirmation email.
• Google Fonts: displaying the fonts; your IP address is sent to Google to load them.
• Google reviews: the “Client reviews” section shows the public reviews of our Google listing; their authors’ profile pictures load from Google’s servers.
• Google Maps: the map on the homepage, only if you click “Show the map”.
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.

Each applies its own security measures and privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

• Requests that don’t lead to a project: up to 3 years after our last exchange.
• Clients: for the project and support, then for the periods required by law (for example 10 years for accounting records).
• Technical data: a few days to a few months with our hosting provider.

7. Cookies and local storage

The site uses no advertising cookies or tracking tools. It only stores in your browser your language choice, and whether you closed the language suggestion or saw the WhatsApp bubble. Our hosting provider may set a technical security cookie to tell visitors apart from malicious bots. The Google Maps map only loads if you click “Show the map”; Google may then set its own cookies. If we measure traffic, we use a tool that sets no cookies and doesn’t identify you (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, with strict security rules that limit which resources can load. Access to your data is restricted to AbacheDev.

9. Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing on legitimate grounds. Email us at contact@abachedev.com: we reply within 30 days at most. You can also contact Morocco’s data protection authority, the CNDP (cndp.ma), or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority in your country.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
